Sri Lanka is famous for its many beautiful beaches. Here are four favourites:

1. Hiriketiya

A gorgeous bay shaped as a horseshoe, normally busy with surfers and hipsters alike. Learn to surf, swim in the clear water or eat your way through the many food places in the area.

2. Mawella

Long stretch of golden sandy beach, where you'll find yourself in the company of a few hermit crabs, monkies and maybe a fisherman or two. Go for a walk, let your kids to play in the shallows and rest your eyes on the horizon.

3. Silent beach

A real gem with clear water and peacefully quiet as the land is owned and kept natural by a nearby hotel. Discover more of the underwater world and go diving with us!

4. Goyambokka

Beautiful short beach with easy access from the main road. In the afternoon, sit on the black rocks, watch the beach turn golden and maybe you'll spot a turtle or two.
